We create the 3D geological modelling using the explicit model based on the geological interpretation of mineral deposits. This task is supported by experiences and knowledge to design each geological sections to interpret the mineralized zones combining the surface mappings, underground mappings and the drillhole intercepts.
With very limited data, we develop the implicit models to build the 3D geological modelling. This provides an automatic system to produce smooth 3D modelling without a manual digitization. This offers quick and easy to update the 3D modelling using new data. We propose the hybrid model combining the radial basis function (RBF) model and the metaheuristics to optimize the point interpolation.
The 3D geological modelling can assist the best locations for drilling that can be used to increase the level of confidence both grade and mineralization with optimal costs and budgets. This 3D geological modelling is combined with statistical and geostatistical analysis to interpolate the grade distributions. This task follows the international codes in reporting the mineral resources.
